SPECIFICATIONS: (The starting point)
We set up specifications for each surface to be painted, and we will work with
you to define that specification so it meets your needs. For example, a
specification might read…
“No visible imperfections, drips, runs or holidays viewed from 3 feet in normal
lighting using normal magnification. Using KM-1235.
PROCEDURES:
In the Qual-Mark program, we incorporate the working procedures within the body
of the work order to insure the painters know the procedures they must carry
out in order to meet your specifications. In addition, we incorporate
procedures for hazardous waste disposal, safety inspection requirements and
other pertinent information.
QC INSPECTIONS:
Each step of the way, inspections take place to insure success.
1.)Pre-surface inspections to make sure the surfaces are
ready to be painted.
2.)Process Inspections to make sure each sub-task is
producing the correct results
3.)Post Inspection to make sure the FINAL result meets the
specifications. The Post Inspections includes both our self-inspection as well
as the customer’s inspection.
CUSTOMER’S ACCEPTANCE:
Once you are satisfied that the surface as being properly painted per the
agreed specification, we ask that you sign our work order indicating you
acceptance.
